EROSION CONTROL

BATTLING WIND AND WATER EROSION ON SITES AROUND THE WORLD

NATURESOWN EROSION CONTROL PRODUCTS

Erosion can create major problems for infrastructure and the surrounding environment. Damage to roadways, buildings, and other drainage can be costly, but prevention doesn’t have to be. Hydroseeding is a cost-effective means to stabilize soil particles in areas prone to erosion. By holding soil into place long enough for Mother Nature to take hold hydroseeding is a solution for long-term stabilization. Hydroseeding has been used throughout the world for over sixty years and has been proven to work in every climate.

HMI produces hydro mulch for any type of erosion control project large or small. We manufacture products fit for any hydromulching equipment in the market as well as amendments to accompany them. HMI has sent hydro mulch to contractors around the world for applications including solar farms, wind parks, forest fire remediation, residential and park, pipeline stabilization, mining soil remediation, and road side stabilization.

PRODUCTS

X9000 BFM/FRM

NaturesOwn X9000 BFM/FRM (Fiber Reinforced Matrix) is produced, patented, designed, and tested to tackle the toughest erosion control projects in the industry. Strong natural fibers homogenized with an unmatched tackifier to ensure erosion control success without restricting natural growth. This product was designed to withstand heavy rains over a long period of time on steep slopes. X9000 BFM is HMI’s premium product.

EVOLUTION BFM

NaturesOwn Evolution is produced to fulfill the need for ever-growing extreme erosion prevention worldwide. Evolution fibers are among the toughest and longest-lasting in the industry, which actually strengthen when wet. When combined with NaturesOwn Triple Tac, Evolution is a Bonded Fiber Matrix, with up to 3 times the savings versus other BFM’s.

HIGH DENSITY PAPER HYDROSEEDING MULCH

NaturesOwn paper hydroseeding mulch is a cellulose fiber mulch manufactured from clean recycled newspaper. NaturesOwn mulch is specifically formulated for all brands of hydro mulching equipment, and is quickly mixed in the tank with excellent pumping movement for quick, effective coverage. Our mulch has a 99.5% erosion control effectiveness when blended with NaturesOwn Triple Tac, according to an SDSU slope test. Each bag weighs 50 lbs.

JET MIX HYDROSEEDING MULCH

NaturesOwn Jet Mix is a rapid dispersion fiber mulch manufactured to meet the requirements of jet agitated hydro mulching machines. Increased wetting agents allow for quicker mixing. Each bag weighs 40lbs.

HYDRO-COMPOST

NaturesOwn Hydrocompost is a natural, biodegradable tackifier that disperses rapidly in cold water and cures immediately after application. Triple Tac is a premium tackifier for use in extreme climate and surface conditions. Triple Tac reduces evaporation and nutrient leaching as well as protects against soil erosion by creating a strong matrix. It mixes easily with water and prevents plugging.

TRIPLE TAC TACKIFIER

NaturesOwn Triple Tac is a natural, biodegradable tackifier that disperses rapidly in cold water and cures immediately after application. Triple Tac is a premium tackifier for use in extreme climate and surface conditions. Triple Tac reduces evaporation and nutrient leaching as well as protects against soil erosion by creating a strong matrix. It mixes easily with water and prevents plugging.

C:TAC

NaturesOwn C:tac is a soil binder, tackifier, and conditioner that is applied to surface areas during hydro-mulching applications. C:tac is biodegradable, environmentally safe, and EPA-exempt. Our product reduces water runoff by tying soil particles together. C:tac is an ideal additive to prevent clogging, which also enhances water infiltration in the soil.

EVOLUTION 70

NaturesOwn Evolution™ 70 is a hydraulically applied alternative fiber mulch for use as an erosion control Best Management Practice (BMP). NaturesOwn Evolution ™ 70 is composed of long-strand, long-lasting agricultural fibers, and wood cellulose fibers. When properly applied in combination with the recommended tackifier, it forms an intimate bond within the mulch-soil interfaces.
